Partnership Launches New Ads: Part Of National Campaign, Ads Will Run During Convention Coverage
WASHINGTON – Today, the Partnership for America’s Health Care Future announced it will launch two new ads around the Democratic National Convention (DNC) and Republican National Convention (RNC) and run through the fall. The ads, titled “Time” and “Build,” are part of a substantial national public education effort that will air on the major broadcast TV and cable networks in select markets during both conventions, as well as on multiple digital video distribution channels in select cities and states. The Partnership will also run advertisements on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
During this critical time, when millions of Americans are depending on access to affordable, high-quality health coverage and care, the Partnership’s new ad, “Time,” highlights the impact of the public option on American families. Instead of creating a one-size-fits-all new government health insurance system we can’t afford, “Time” delivers a message of unity and calls for building on what’s working where private coverage, Medicare and Medicaid work together to deliver the affordable, high-quality care Americans deserve.

Additionally, the Partnership is releasing “Build.” Every American deserves access to affordable, high-quality health coverage and care, but “Build” shows how a one-size-fits-all government health insurance system called the public option would do the exact opposite. Instead of forcing Americans into a new government-controlled health insurance system that would demand Americans to pay more for worse care, in the new ad the Partnership advocates for building on what’s working where private coverage, Medicare and Medicaid work together.
