Health care decisions should be made by doctors and patients – not politicians.

I don’t want taxes raised for people that can’t afford it. We can’t do it to the average American.

Loretta Sieman served on the West Des Moines City Council for 17 years, the first woman in history to do so.

Loretta fears the higher taxes and loss of control that could come with a one-size-fits-all new government insurance system, like a public option.

The Facts:

American patients deserve high-quality, affordable health care, but new government insurance systems like Medicare for All, Medicare Buy-In and the public option could force Americans to pay more to wait longer for worse care, These one-size-fits-all systems could mean higher taxes for all Americans and put health care decisions in the hands of politicians instead of patients and doctors.

It’s time to lower cost, build on what’s working, and fix broken – not start over.
