Partnership Launches New Ad: Part Of National Campaign
WASHINGTON – Today, the Partnership for America’s Health Care Future announced it will launch a new ad through the fall. The ad, titled “Story,” is part of a seven-figure nationwide education effort that will air on multiple digital video distribution channels across the country. The Partnership will also run advertisements on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
The ad, “Story,” provides an overview of a new government-controlled health insurance system called the public option and what it could mean for working families. The ad details how the public option could require a new $2,300 a year payroll tax increase on the average American worker – even if they like their current coverage and care. Worst of all, “Story” highlights how the public option could eventually force all Americans into a one-size-fits-all government health insurance system, leaving us with only one coverage option. Let’s build on what’s working where private coverage, Medicare and Medicaid work together – not start over with a government-controlled health insurance system like the public option.
